Frequently asked questions
Once you sign up, you'll fill out a detailed questionnaire that helps us understand your background, goals, and current training. After that you'll choose your coaching package and complete your membership payment. Next, you'll be connected with your coach who will set up an intake call to get you started.
We use an app called Training Peaks to deliver your plan to you.
TrainingPeaks is a powerful tool we use to make your training more effective and personalized. It's designed to help athletes like you stay on track, monitor progress, and reach your goals with confidence.
Personalized Planning: We create a customized training plan just for you, tailored to your specific goals—whether it’s completing your first race or setting a new personal best. Each workout will be clearly outlined with details on what to do, including how long and how intense the session should be.
Easy Tracking: After each workout, you’ll upload your data from devices like your GPS watch or heart rate monitor. TrainingPeaks automatically analyzes this information, showing you important stats like your pace, distance, and heart rate.
In-Depth Analysis: The platform also helps us keep an eye on your overall progress. We can see how your fitness is improving, how much training load you’re handling, and make adjustments as needed to keep you on the right track.
Ongoing Support: TrainingPeaks also allows us to stay connected. We can quickly provide feedback, make tweaks to your plan, and ensure you’re always moving toward your goals. You’ll have a clear understanding of your training and what comes next.

Once the foundation is set, we develop a customized plan that’s analyzed and updated on a weekly basis. We rely heavily on feedback from each runner, making adjustments to ensure that every session reflects how they’re progressing, feeling, and managing other life demands. As a result, no two training schedules look alike. This ongoing, collaborative process helps us create a balanced yet challenging plan tailored to their strengths, areas of growth, and any unique scheduling requirements. By consistently fine-tuning workouts, pacing, and recovery, we guide athletes in a way that supports their individual journey. The ultimate goal is not just to help runners reach performance milestones but to build confidence, resilience, and joy in the sport—providing a framework where running can harmoniously coexist with the other passions in their lives.
Coaches are carefully matched with athletes based on their experience, goals, and preferences. We take the time to understand your unique needs and goals during the onboarding process, ensuring you’re paired with a coach who can best support your journey.
We offer unlimited email communication and schedule adjustments from your coach, ensuring you get the support you need whenever you need it. Whether you have questions, need guidance, or require adjustments to your training plan, your coach is here to help.
You can expect a reply within 24 business hours, so you’ll always have timely responses to keep you on track with your training.
Our coaches are skilled in working with runners at all stages of their journey. We can help you safely and effectively build your training, ensuring a steady and healthy progression.
Personal Coaching is ideal for newer runners because it offers consistent support and tailored guidance. However, our in-person Group Workout membership is also a great fit for beginners, with a variety of pace groups and workout options that can be adjusted to match your current fitness level.
No, there’s no minimum commitment required for 1:1 Coaching. We understand that flexibility is important, and you can work with us for as long as it fits your needs.
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and your training plan may need adjustments from time to time. That’s why we offer unlimited changes to your training schedule. Whether you need to shift workouts due to work, family commitments, travel, or any other reason, just let your coach know, and we’ll adjust your plan accordingly. Our goal is to keep your training aligned with your life, ensuring you can stay consistent and motivated without unnecessary stress
The weekly check-in form is a unique and exclusive tool created by (ME!) Lynsey Romano specifically for SRC athletes. It goes beyond the data captured by TrainingPeaks, diving into the human side of coaching. This form covers essential aspects of your well-being, such as how you're sleeping, what your stress levels are like, and how you would rate your nutrition. It’s designed to give your coach a complete picture of how you're feeling physically and mentally, helping us tailor your training to support your overall health and performance. This is sent out weekly by your coach and informs the decisions they make regarding your next microcycle.
Our onboarding process is thorough and personalized, designed to set you up for success from the very beginning. Here’s what’s involved:
Comprehensive Questionnaire: We start with a 37-question questionnaire, which takes approximately 30 minutes for a coach to review.
Onboarding Call: A 60-minute onboarding call follows to discuss your goals, learn more about you, and answer all your questions.
Training History Analysis: Next, we analyze your uploaded training history files on TrainingPeaks, which can take 30-60 minutes.
Follow-up Questions: Additional follow-up questions and clarifications take around 15 minutes.
Creating Your First Schedule: Writing your first personalized training schedule takes about 30 minutes.
First Email with Objectives: Finally, we send an email outlining clearly defined objectives for your first training block and any necessary adjustments, which also ≈ 30 minutes.
In total, this initial onboarding process takes around 3 to 3.5 hours of dedicated time from our coaches. Given the personalized and in-depth nature of this process, offering a free trial simply isn't feasible within our coaching model. We believe that this level of commitment and attention to detail is key to helping you achieve your goals effectively.
We ask for two weeks' notice because our coaches typically plan your training and schedules in two-week blocks. By the time you request cancellation, they’ve already completed the work for the upcoming weeks, so this notice period helps us manage that effort fairly.

Our pricing for US clients reflects a considerate adjustment based on the current exchange rate, allowing us to offer a more accessible rate while maintaining the same high standard of service.
